well, yeah...I already mentioned that all my rantings are just "my opinion" and that thats all it is, my opinion.

Also, I am familiar with the leveling of spells as I did mention that I leveled up some spells to their max on the demo. and yes, all it did was increase usage by 1 per level increase. Not sure how you don't run out of spells on the demo, especially on my first attempt against that harpy thingy.

Just to be clear, I only tried the demo and I played each lvl/quest only once until I got the the harpy thingy quest. Should have I grinded for more spells? probably...should it be needed? Nope, for a game that's trying to lure people in, making the game aggravating very early on isn't the way to do it. Truth be told, I so wanted to get into the game that I forced myself to play the demo for 10 hours...saddly it just didnt get better.

Also, I never said everything sucked balls! I did say that when not running around trying to look for spell refills, the overall flow the the game is quite good. My beef with the game is with the "limited spells" early on in the demo plus the fact that it takes quite sometime to draw out the souls or offerings or whatever, leaving you very open to attacks etc etc which brings me back to my second problem that the game isn't really hard, just that its artificially hard.

Lastly, yeah, I know, I'm ripping this game a new one and that's because I was sooooo really looking forward to getting it only to find out that I dont like it. Its like waiting in anticipation for spiderman 3, only to find out that it sucked so much.

When playing a RPG  do you..

A). Keep a constant progression foward, never stopping to doidle in any one spot. When faces with a tough enemy that you are not at an appropriate level for defeating easily, you keep trying until the odds eventually turn in your favor.

B). Take time inbetween story elements to practice skills and level up, ensuring you are strong enough to face anything that comes your way.

C). Occassionally stop to level up.  A mix of forward progression and prep making.

Because a game like this only bodes well for one of the above....

Yeah....I'm an excessive B.... I usually end up over leveled.

As for games like SS, I did pump in over 400 hrs in Gods Eater Burst, 150+ hours in lord of apocalyps and am currently 300+ hours in Ragnarok Odyssey. I'm very familiar with farming and grinding for materials/weapons and such to upgrade, make or card better weapons/equipments etc.

Here's a question, did you play the Demo or did you wait for the game to release? If you played the demo first, does it get better or is the demo an indication of what to expect, ie I'll still dislike the game.
