I hope the Vita gets a lot of support at E3.

So do i...

I love my Vita and im in gaming heaven at the moment with Persona 4 golden and Soul sacrifice, but once they are over there is nothing else in the horizon until the end of the year and Ys Celceta and depending on how good it is Valhalla Knights 3.

Killzone and Tearaway are nice but not the kind of games i buy.

bu...bu..but Jak and Daxter in June!!

FARMING SIMULATOR IS COMING TO NORTH AMERICA ON PSVITA

Were you disappointed that Europe got the cult-hit Farming Simulator on their Vita, while there was no North American release in sight? Fret not, we’ve confirmed with developer Giants Software that the game is planned for release on PSVita in the region. The company is aiming for a release sometime within the next two months, and will be $9.99 if their website is to be believed.

Farming Simulator on PSVita features nine different manufacturers of tractors, harvesters, and other agricultural equipment. There’s a career mode where you can manage a farm and build it up for success by planting three different types of crops under a dynamic day-night-cycle. If that’s not enough to get your wallet out, the game also features a platinum trophy.

9.99 is just too cheap for this game.  It should be79.99!

I've beaten all 3 like 5 time thats no excuse! Just kidding, their my favorite games of all time so buying them for a 3rd time is no problem for me.

A couple of new indie games are coming to Vita according to Game Informer: Counterspy, which kind of looks like Rolling Thunder meets Metal Gear Solid, and Doki-Doki Universe by Greg Johnson of ToeJam & Earl fame.

There's also a new game called Hohokum from the Frobisher Says guys in collaboration with Sony Santa Monica, but no platforms were listed. Looks kind of like Noby Noby Boy X LocoRoco. (Gameplay video here.)

"SCE Foster City Studio [...]  is expanding into the downloadable space, teaming up with indie developers to help bring unique and innovative projects to Sony's platforms."

Best thing about that article.  I've never really understood what they did, and when you see xDev in Europe collaborating with everyone on everything, it always felt like they needed an American equivalent.

Aside from that, though, the game actually looked pretty nice.  Not too sure about the other one.

EDIT: No, backtrack on that other game.  2D sandbox?  Yeah, I'm in.

Speaking of indie games:

I wonder if we'll ever get these in the west.

Oh, and I cannot wait to get Jak & Daxter Collection for Vita. I completed them all on PS2 and was going to buy it again for PS3 at some point. But now it's coming to Vita, well, that's a sale to me!

If Sly & Ratchet Collections come out for it too then... yeah. Pretty much my teenagehood in a handheld console, I will be incredibly happy. My Vita purchase has already been justified for LBP, WipEout & Uncharted alone; this would just be a massive bonus.

I wonder if they'd manage to get Ratchet & Clank 3's multi-player working on Vita, actually. Maybe cross-play with PS3. That would be unbelievably awesome. But I'll keep my expectations low for now.

Sly hasn't been announced yet, at least as far as I know, but it showed up on ESRB a while back.

Is an ESRB rating like that pretty much confirmation?  Makes sense though; Sanzaru could've been working on it since finishing Sly 4.

It's awesomely weird to think I'll have every Ratchet & Jak platformer on this awesome little handheld.  Come on, Ratchet!
