Awesome....
Its nice to see Nintendo actually bundle the Wii Zapper with other games.

I'd have to agree with you there. And what's with zombie themes for rail shooters in general? I can't understand why anything like that would be popular. Zombies! Gah. I can't think of anything less appealing to shoot. Give me anything other than zombies as a backdrop and I'd play it. The gameplay of spin-offs like The Typing of the Dead looked quite interesting, apart from the zombies.
It's old news for me but good job letting other people know. Also it has been done already for RE:UC in Japan.
"Like you know"
The question is... will it come to the US. Hopefully so, as it'll save me the trouble of buying Links crossbow training twice.

UC is currently doing pretty well. Clearly there's a market for rail shooters. I was hoping to see more shooters earlier.
More zapper bundles are good. I can't see anyone paying $20 for one by itself considering that's the very reasonable price for Link's Crossbow Training. Maybe $10? Or just ship more bundles like this one.
As for the Zapper clip on attachment, I actually kind of like it, when the game is optimized to be used with it. Feels good in the hand, more stable platform for shooting and more comfortable for extended use.
Downside is that the grip configuration is reversed from actual tactical carbines/submachine guns. For a righty, the left hand is always in the forward grip position for the best shooting platform (stance). With the zapper, either you tuck your left hand against your chest to keep the controller close for stability, or hold it at arm's length which is not the best for long sessions. It's awkward even if only because I'm used to the real thing.
Also, it really only supports limited control type games as all buttons on the face of the remote aren't easily accessible if the game requires use of the nunchuk. That means B, C and Z buttons only along with the analog stick. All other buttons have to be accessed with your non dominant hand.
Now we can take crappy arcade games home..
jokes.
I always access the C and Z with my non dominant hand but as the B is nearly always heavily used then thats just stupid.
To me, i'd buy every on rails game to play through at least once as I love them (they're the best 2 player games for me and the wife I reckon and I just love sharing a life energy in REUC, never get sick of yelling when she doesn't dodge quick enough in cut scenes) i'd never use the zapper as I just love everything about the Wiimote / nunchuck controllers as they were intended to be.
Those people that think they're perfect give a bad reputation to us who are...
"With the DS, it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen, but I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that." - Phil Harrison, Sony

Nintendo already did with Umbrella Chronicles in Japan.
looks to me like Sega and Nintendo are becoming butt budies : )
I think the deal was Nintendo uses Sonic for SSBB, Sega uses Mario for M&S. That deal makes sense. Works for both parties, although I think Sega got the better deal. M&S does not sell unless their is Mario in it. SSBB would sell regardless, Sonic just adds to the hype.

No doubt that Sega benefits more from M&S than NIntendo from SSBB, but I doubt that this is the end of the agreement. Sonic has been doing very well on Nintendo systems (one of the few 3rd parties who sold on the GCN) and I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of Wii-exclusive Sonic software in the coming years. Plus I can't shake the suspicion that this is only the beginning of the Mario/Sonic era.
