I'd have to agree with you there. And what's with zombie themes for rail shooters in general? I can't understand why anything like that would be popular. Zombies! Gah. I can't think of anything less appealing to shoot. Give me anything other than zombies as a backdrop and I'd play it. The gameplay of spin-offs like The Typing of the Dead looked quite interesting, apart from the zombies.
