Forums - Nintendo - Post your 3DS e-shop purchases

I've downloaded 3D Excitebike and Pokedex 3D so far. I'm waiting for more original eShop titles. I don't buy Virtual Console games.

Edit - I actually do not like the combination of the move to real cash, and the fixed amounts you can add. With the old system, you never worried about dangling cents because the taxes were charged on the points which worked out evenly. Now I have all kinds of cents left over, I will never manage to get the balance evened out. If they were going to actual currency, they really should have allowed us to straight up pay the price of the game rather than adding money.

Exactly my thoughts!

Although in Japan the situation is a bit better than in North America with its X.99$ pricing. In Japan all prices are "even". 300 Yen, 400Yen, 600Yen etc.

Do you guys have sales tax on online purchases? Here in Ontario we have to add 14% HST (Homogenized Sales Tax) which further turns the prices into insanity.

Sorry to ask, but you know any online store where I can buy a prepaid card? I live in Dominican republic and here it is imposible to put a credit card number on PSN, Xbox live, and now Nintendo 3ds eShop, and I really want to download some Dsiware games.

i got Link's Awakening DX and the free stuff.

here in Denmark the price is always shown with taxes added so there is never any confusion regarding that.

I've been looking for you, but I can't find any yet. I expect Amazon will, and won't even require it to be shipped to you either (for instance, right now, you can buy XBL points cards, then have the code delivered to you electronically instead of getting them mailed to you).

You MAY be able to tie your 3DS to your Nintendo.com account and purchase the points on there, though I could be wrong.

The tax (5% "consumption tax") is already included in the price. So a 300 Yen game in reality costs 286 Yen plus 14 Yen consumption tax.

What you describe sounds really hilarious. You'll always have some uneven amount sitting in your account. That's not good...
