Stats:

Going by the fact Halo CEA is $40 (apparantly) I think even though it's coming post Gears and same week as COD? (Insane) It'll still do well over the holiday. If ODST can do about 4.5/5 mill at $60 during 09 Holiday, a well loved Halo at $20 cheaper should be able to match that, also, will we see special 10th anniversary bundles?

I predict 6 mill for CEA, 2 mill first week, 4.5 mill over the holiday.

Halo 4? I have no idea, part of me says because this is the 3rd Main halo, 5 Halo FPS, and 6th overall Halo game this gen, it'll start getting hit, but look at COD? Perhaps having MC and being a sequel to 4 will give it a boost? It's 343 as well remember ...

I guess low end 7 mill, high end 11 mill.

I expect the franchise to just hit over 60 mill by the end of this generation though.

My predictions:

Halo CEA:
First week--2.6-3 million
First month--4.4-4.8 million
Lifetime--7-8 million

Halo 4:
First week--4-4.4 million
First month--6.5-7.2 million
Lifetime--10-12 million

Yeah Halo 4 is actually quite the wildcard....it will do good but the question is how good...there are soooo many factors to consider.

For me has to be Cemake ... the memories ... played that campaign over and over

I dunno how Anniversary will do. You'll have to like Reach to really get full value out of it. Because the maps are Reach map extensions, no?

or is full Reach multiplayer on the disc like in ODST?

Plus you have people that already played it.

Halo 4 will do 10 million lifetime, easy, if Reach did (as it looks like it will eventually), as long as 343 doesn't botch it. The MS hype machine will be in full force. You get the return of Master Chief. Another however many million consoles compared to Reach.

i'm buying both, of course, so there's one!

I'm going to have to go with Halo 4 simply because I so badly want to see what happens to the Master Chief and see what new threat they are going up against.

I'm really glad its Halo Remake this year and then Halo 4 next..perfect spacing IMO

I don't think so.  MP is definitely the Reach engine, with assassinations and all.  Watch the trailer.  the maps are Reach maps.  The only online for Halo CE itself is online co-op.

Are you sure...I want a link for that to confirm...Just because they have an assassination doesn't mean its Halo Reach.

But I guess it would make sense for them to do it that way..I just don't want it to be like Halo Reach MP :-/
