Project Hammer isn't scrapped, it was just in the freezer for some time, they recently had new screens for Project Hammer, Disaster surely isn't scrapped either and I believe it's almost certain to release in 2008.

Last word was it was still in development and Hammer was on hold indefintely. Least so said GoNintendo.

That was back in July though.
It got some new screenshot at that Nintendo conference in October, can't find any of them but I remember seeing them.
It'll come along eventually, probably mid 2008 I'm guessing.
It isn't scrapped I think they actually released some new screenshots earlier this year.
What bothers me though is that they changed the premise of the game. It was supposed to be about natural disaster, earthquakes in a city and shit. Im not glad they killed that idea.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
Back in 2002 Nintendo bought a little known developer and became very silent about their highly anticipated game, the developer (Retro) became one of Nintendo's best first party developers and the game (Metroid Prime) became one of the best games of the generation. I'm not claiming that this situation will turn out similar, but I think it just demonstrates that Nintendo's silence isn't necessarily a bad sign.
Nintendo is silent but deadly
lol
