I saw some of the prototype pictures they had on IGN. If that's how it actually looks, I think that it's a horrid idea. A touchscreen controller for a console is dumb as hell.

I agree. it would be too much of a distraction. I would want to keep my eyes on the television. Personally, I don't think that is what Nintendo is doing. I don't want to believe it.

When we first saw the DS, it was a pretty dumb idea, too.
1 more day and we'll find out what it's like.
