So they decided to only give out the demo to people who already pre-ordered the game... No problem:

1- Pre-order the PC version on amazon.com (.co.uk doesn't work for this) and you'll get an e-mail with subject "Welcome to the Duke Nukem First Access Club!"

2- Follow the instructions on that e-mail.

3- Cancel Amazon pre-order after completing the registration and creating the gearbox account (or maybe you don't even need the gearbox account, not sure about that).

4- Wait until the demo is available at the website and have fun!

PS: Your credit card will never actually get charged since Amazon only charges it when shipping the game. You will cancel the pre-order long before they have a chance to ship it, since it's only coming out in a week. Just make sure you receive the cancellation confirmation e-mail.

Codes for the first access club also come with copies of Borderlands GOTY.

Or any Steam version of Borderlands. I got my Borderlands before the GOTY Edition and they gave me a code over Steam too. (I think my DNF demo is audomatically added to Steam as well.)

Screw this preorder code demo access. They take 12-13 years to release a game and than pull these weird annoyning marketing tactics.

The gunplay is cool, the humor is good. The first level was cool but very small and the second level was pretty boring with all the pushing carts around.

Might not be worth the full price, but it's probably worth buying anyway.

The game is shit. Screen tearing, frame rate drops, clumsy FPS mechanics, you can carry only two weapones at a time :/ It's a sad day for me.

Are you talking about the PC version? I didn't notice any screen tearing or terrible framerate.

Playing with a Phenom X6 2.8 GHz and HD 5750 with everything maxed out and FSAA...

Thanks for this. Honestly, I wouldn't have even realised I could get the demo from Borderlands without this thread.
