Forums - PC - Electronic Arts on GOG

Good news for GOG...but I was kinda hoping it was Lucas Arts they made the deal with. I'd love to be able to play Sam & Max Hit the Road!

Do you own a physical copy of Sam & Max Hit the Road ? I'm asking because, if so, you can play it via ScummVM on basically any system. But you probably already knew that, like most adventure game fans.

I'm also very curious if and when GOG finally gets to release LucasArts games. I want Grim Fandango either re-made by LucasArts themselves (which is doubtful - if they ever decide to do another remake at all, it will most probably be Day of the Tentacle) or at least re-released on GOG. Grim Fandango is the only notable LA adv game that will never have ScummVM support.

No, I don't own a copy of Hit the Road, unfortunately. I'm a big Sam & Max fan, but that's the one game in the series I haven't played, so I'd love if it came to GOG someday.

I DO still have my original copy of Grim Fandango, though. :)

"But I don't want to go among mad people!" said Alice. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat. "We're all mad here."

Time for hype

I hope that this list will include previous Wing Commander titles too.

And it makes sense for EA to give those games to gog. They are making free cash out of it as all troubleshoting and making sure those titles work well is probably on CDP hands.

And with those games still selling it actually works good for EA owned IPs.
