You know, it looks good, but I kinda wish it'd come with a 3D screen. I've been playing DOA:D for like a few days now and them maxed out 3D boobs really are nice when you shake the 3DS.... I mean, I don't play GT5 without 3D either, the game is just better with the 3D on. If there is 3D on the PS3, why not on the NGP? It's the samething with the upcoming Uncharted, it will be amazing with 3D supposedly, why not have it on your fucking handheld SONY? wtf? I'm looking at all these videos and the only thing I can think about right now is how nice they'd look in 3D =/

Because it completely changes how games would be made on the NGP, and Sony thought doing something else was a better idea. That's why.

I'm prolly just hooked on 3D or something, it changes a lot of perspectives and can really enhance gameplay. I think any 3D-perspective game could benefit from it and all those videos just show me that they'd be more kick ass with glassfree 3D, they don't even need to make those games any different, they'd just benefit from it directly as they are.

Games aren't made different for 3D, all one would need is another view angle of the same scene, I don't know what you meant by your statement (did you mean that they'd have to compensate for the fact that the game needs to output at twice the resolution therefore can't handle the same graphics?)

Anyways, even games that aren't programmed with 3D capabilities can be played in 3D, *proof* (or google wii dolphin emulator in 3D)

My point was just if you build your system around 3D, you have to consider different things then if don't. Making games in 3D also requires different things than if don't, and Sony chose that this shouldn't be a concern.

Making a game 3D does not require anything different from developers, if my previous post wasn't proof enough for you then I don't know what else to say to you :/

That depends on what you consider to be different.

Developers have to build their engines to produce 3D, and they have to tweak the gameplay to fit the 3D. Good 3D requires that you design your game with 3D in mind, and tacking it on will make it nothing more than a gimmick in the game.

Doing a 3D game requires different things from developers than non-3D games in my book.
