Making a game 3D does not require anything different from developers, if my previous post wasn't proof enough for you then I don't know what else to say to you :/

That depends on what you consider to be different.

Developers have to build their engines to produce 3D, and they have to tweak the gameplay to fit the 3D. Good 3D requires that you design your game with 3D in mind, and tacking it on will make it nothing more than a gimmick in the game.

Doing a 3D game requires different things from developers than non-3D games in my book.
