Why not ditch the Playstation brand entirely? Both Playstation 4 and PSP2 seem boring, uninspired... and gives the impression that Sony are just cashing in on things "wait, there's been four of these things now?".

If there's anything this generation has proved, it's that branding really doesn't seem to matter as much in terms of helping future consoles. It didn't help the Playstation 3, it didn't help the 3DS. The lack of brand didn't hinder the Wii, and the Xbox's shoddy branding didn't hinder the 360.

So, why not?
