Alright so I am now about to reach the final dungeon area in the JRPG I have been playing lately. Clocked in at around 15 hours so far. I expect my final playthrough in this Android JRPG to be about 16-17 hours at most, of course provided that this is the final dungeon area. I say that because I thought I just finished the final battle.
The game is called Symphony of Eternity and is made by Kemco.
First off the game wasn't anything special, but what do you expect from the guys who did the console versions of Diakatana? Story was nothing special, graphics are what you would expect in an old school JRPG, the character sprites are a bit small and still, it was enjoyable enough that it kept me interested for the entire length of the game. I would say that had much to do with the controls. Old school turn based JRPG games work awesome on these devices.
Pictures show the analog stick thing but that can be taken away within the options menu. This game can be played without the onscreen buttons. Just tap a spot and your character moves there. You can also just tap on a spot and hold your finger on the device and your character will just continue to move in the direction of wherever your finger is.
I doubt everyone will like it, but it is on sale right now for $2.99 in the Android Market. If you like this kind of stuff you should check it out.
And yes, it is in English.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
