I haven't played this one, but I think the series is pretty underrated. DoA4 was a lot of fun.

This is a time I do have to agree, there are some dedicated fans of DoA, and for the most part everything I hear about it from the non fans is basically "BOOOBIES! JIGGLE JIGGLE TAAATAAAAS" and that it's really hard/technical.  Now that I'm playing it, yes it is technical, so far it seems like they're toning down the difficulty for the new guys (though I could still get stomped if I just go into free play and turn on hard), and it's actually really fun.

The difference between DoA and SSFIV is when you pull off a combo in DoA it's oh so satisfying and that's something I don't feel in many fighters, satisfied and rewarded, basically I can only name this, SSFII, Brawl, and a couple of other fighters that could give me this feeling.
