That's the retail copy though. That doesn't take into account the digital copies sold. Aside from Blizzard games and stuff like The Sims, PC gaming doesn't have much of a retail presence anymore.

Also I get the impression that The Witcher 2 has more of a presence in Europe where PC gaming is bigger than North America. Especially with CD Projekt Red being a Polish developer.

Which is roughly what it would be at now if indeed it did make 200-300k DD sales (167k plus 45K plus 200/300k = 413/513k) to be fair I think that is pretty damn good opening, ofcourse though we can't confirm anything at all to do with digital distribution unfortunately.

Actually it probably did. The sales in EU were over 200k. Also that was just physical copys. Almost everyone I know who wants the game either bought it from GOG or Steam.
