I instantly thought of "The Getaway". That game (and its sequel) sucked but with the current level of technology, it can be done right. Maybe next time?

It could be a type of spiritual successor to Heavy Rain, i'm guessing from quasi-sequel. and we havent heard anything from David Cage recently - so its possible they're working on a new game continuing the elements found in HR.
