"quasi-sequel"
So a game like another but not quite the same. And PS3 Cult Classic means that the first was a PS3 game to begin with.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a quasi-sequel, given it'd be the 4th game in the series but on PS3 it would be following the first game. A quasi-sequel in this series would be an announcement of the HD remaster of VC2 and 3 for PS3 (crosses fingers), being that they are already released sequels on PSP, so when being released on PS3 they aren't really sequels.
Demon's Souls 2 isn't a quasi-sequel it IS a sequel. Same as Heavenly Sword 2. So those sequels would surprise me unless the Twitterer miss tweeted and doesn't know what quasi means, thus proving themselves to be a twit.

Or 2 isnt part of the games name, or its a prequel (or the timeline of this game is at least not directly aligned to the first one) or it has a different main character... plenty of options

Possibly a sort of Heavy Rain sequel? Or well, a follow up, not really sequel. I have no idea though, everytime they say they are going to announce a new game, I'm always wrong.
Edit: Oops. Nevermind. Seems you guys already figured it out..lol.
Anyone thought of a prequel as a quasi-sequel ;P
