I think if they did that, then Nintendo would have a hard time keeping their console on store shelves.
I don't know why people tell me to get a life. I'm a gamer, I have lots of lives!

While I wouldn't say it was likely to be announced at E3, because Sora and Sakurai are working on KI: Uprising, I wouldn't say it was out of the question

Brawl was online. It wasn't great, but it was good if you just wanted to play with friends...
I don't see why they'd back-track on it.
OT: I can see a Cafe with a Smash Bros. game flying off the shelves. I mean, look at the success of Brawl. With this, a Mario (/Kart) game an some epic 3rd party titles, it could be the best launch EVA!!!
Also, Kivi95, if you think Smash Bros. is a Mario game, then you've got another thing coming

I don't get the problem some people haven't with Brawl's online. Myself, I've only seen lag while playing Brawl online a handful of times. I never really seen all the fuss made about it. I've only played probably about 20 hours online with it, compared to about 60 for Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Blazblue CT and SFIV and over 120 for MKWii. But that's because I'm better at those games than I am with Brawl, rather than due to online failings.
Even when my cousin went to stay with family in Arizona and took his Wii, I played with him and we had a completely lag free match. Sometimes I feel like coming to the conclusion that people like to blame the game when they have a crappy internet connection, because I sure as hell haven't seen lag on any current gen online game more than once or twice.

It depends really when you got it. At launch it was REAL bad, but after about 6-9months the online became much better and almost seemless. It all comes down to router speed, and, of course, luck.
We may have just been the lucky ones. I have a slow router and had no problem when playing with friends, but it was a nightmare when I was playing against random people, for some reason.

I thought Kid Icarus is already done and they are holding it back for "strategic" release or something?
Why are people assuming that shown at E3=Launch title? Several games shown last E3 haven't even got release dates yet...

I didn't give brawl a fair chance because I didn't like the wii very much. A new Super Smash game for next gen really gets me excited though.
Would be nice to have a new SSB in the launch window.
