Forums - Nintendo - Issues with 3DS???

Did you do the first update yet? I know there were issues if you didn't download that first update. If you have then, Nintendo support has always been known to be fair, prompt, and helpful. Give em a call.

Hunh, that's weird... I have no idea what the cause could be, but I've had some funny things happen, too, like the 3D icons for games and other software on the Home Menu spinning around like crazy and not stopping.

that happened to me as well, but I was on a train. I think it was picking up the background noise...

Does anyone have an e-mail address? I've just had a quick look and can only find stuff for Wii and DS, nothing for 3DS :/

Well, it happened to me at home, while it was completely silent, and it happened several times as well. Dunno why, not that it's a big deal, just weird.

It's never happened to me... My pretend 3DS works perfectly

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

The mic picks up either sounds or air blowing into it, which makes the icons spin. Blow into the mic and try it out for yourself.

OT: If you have the 3DS system under warranty from the store you purchased it from, take it to them so they can look at it. And if it's still under warranty, you can get a new 3DS free of charge. That is before you send it into Nintendo. I had to send my GBASP to them one time because the L Button got stuck, and Nintendo sent me a new GBASP in the mail, with a description saying they could not fix my own GBASP, so they sent me a new one to replace it. Nintendo's customer service really is wonderful.

Yes, I'm very aware of that, but there was no background noise and I was definitely not blowing or breathing into the mic... that's why I found it to be so weird.

OK, I'm considering ringing Nintendo now, after all, it says it has a 12 month warranty

I don't think I have the original packaging anymore though, would that be a problem?
