I think she sold 5 million in the US alone. Over 15 million worldwide. That's great for this day and age. Since music went digital people don't buy like they used to. It's not fair to compare to albums released 20, 10, even 5 years ago.
Gaga has the best selling digital album and 2 of the 3 best selling digital songs of all time, FYI.

I personally think she should have focussed more on making it more 80's New Wave, and less rock/electronic. I began liking her because of her 80's sounding stuff off her first album.
I feel Judas is the only really major standout song on the album. Just about all of the rest are good, but not the type of music I prefer. It's not like the Fame Monster where I loved every song on it (except for Aleandro). Although my favourite song from her is probably I Like It Rough.
I was expecting something to blow me away like Nelly Furtado's Loose, but it didn't. Still more than worth the purchase though. I can see a lot of people digging this album though.

She's sold over 100 million albums and singles, and has been around for less than three years. That's far better than Usher and Eminem combined in their first 3 years.

I find that hilariously ironic coming from a person with deadmou5 as an avatar. You should be kissing Gaga's feet becasue her producers include DJ whiteshadow and red one - deadmau5 would be.... well dead without them. If your going to be a real deadmau5 fan at least know a little about them.
