I find it hard to believe that anybody at any gaming store would deny the existance of Europe's best selling DS game (12.42m atm). That takes gaming ignorance to a whole new level. |
Ouch. That's pretty bad. How about when our store told us NSMBWii didn't exsist and the biggest Wii holiday game was Left 4 Dead 2? That's pretty igorant, but not as bad as your example.
Maybe we, being gaming addicts/enthusiasts, know far more than the staff, who in turn know far more than Joe/Jill Bloggs? Maybe it just sees like they're bias and/or ignorant because we are all slightly (or massively) bias towards one particular company/console, so when we see someone trying to push something else, we immediately retaliate?
It doesn't explain most of the things in the thread, but since we know pretty much everything about the game we're going to buy, it's obvious that they'll seem stupid.

Sony fans were fewer and far between cause those guys jumped ship to 360 after last gen... which would explain why they were the crazy ones... the PS2 fans in my area were pretty damn crazy...
