First impressions are that the console is a little beauty.

It may be small but it gets pretty toasty hot. On the plus side I wont need to buy that room heater this winter I'll just sit near the vents and game on.

Im sure PSN will add to the fun once fixed.

 

Don't be turned away by the customer service and the PSN f*** up, SONY is going through a tough time at the moment.

That's a good deal for a PS3, I don't know why but retailers tend to sell the PS3's £50 cheaper than the RRP.

And it's the same for me, even in the winter I don't have the central heating on, I just play games on 10 different consoles xD.

Have you tried seeing if you can create an account via PC?  I checked on PC and it does seem to start the process - I didn't finish it as I don't want 2 PSN accounts so it might fail at some point but if it works you could create and account via PC then simply enter the details on your PC and you should be okay to go online for gaming.

Usual disclaimer that if this results in weird stuff it was just a suggestion!



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Yeah tried the PC route pretty much falls over in exactly the same way as the PS3 sign up does.

So frustrating as the SONY message boards dont discuss the issue and if you read the help guides you would think the network outage was happening in another reality that we dont acknowledge "EVER".

I guess I will have to be patient but I will definately try to argue my case and get some freebies. Just because you dont have an account doesnt mean you arent suffering.
