Yeah tried the PC route pretty much falls over in exactly the same way as the PS3 sign up does.
So frustrating as the SONY message boards dont discuss the issue and if you read the help guides you would think the network outage was happening in another reality that we dont acknowledge "EVER".
I guess I will have to be patient but I will definately try to argue my case and get some freebies. Just because you dont have an account doesnt mean you arent suffering.
