For my benefit? I don`t see how. So to you it`s all or nothing. It`s your view of life not mine.

That's how your religion works. You just proved that you're a hypocrite. I guess it's quite easy for you to pick on gays for their so-called "sin", to make yourself feel all righteous, since you yourself are not gay.

I always said i sinned aswell. So no, there`s isn`t the i`m better than A B or C - you are the one who keeps throwing that argument.
The aspect you are neglecting is that when we sin we ask for forgiveness and keep trying to do better, no matter how many times we fail, as long as we repent and have faith, God will forgive us. That`s how "my" religion works.

Well i guess i was born this way! An dmost of gay people are.

I can see thought that for someone could have been a life choice or a breakground necessity.

People react to different event in life in differents ways.

Dramatic events can change our way to think of be.

Switch!!!

Are people still talking about God!

I can see why people needed in the past, when life was worste and much less fair (and I can see why people in difficulties or not lucky Are attached to a hope that can help them to go through a terribel life).

The only good thing of religion is to help people with less opportunities make their lives easier to be lived!

Said so i am convinced there is no God! I mean the world and Universe is not perfect, horrible things are happening, nobody ever saw him, and until proof of existence i will not believe in Him.

A sin is something that goes against God and that means what He is and what He says.

Then let God decide about homosexuals. Disapproving homesexuality by denying them rights heterosexuals do have is playing God. If there's one thing you christians shouldn't do, is acting like you're God.

If we did what you ask we would forsake God one way or another. If there`s one thing God wants is for His words to be known.

So you're choosing which religious rules to act on for your own benefit. You can't live by christian moral law anyway so why torture yourself?

I really don't want to get dragged into this, but I must point out that He has already decided on this.

Please clarify.

Calls homosexuality an abomination in the Book of Leviticus.  I may be misinterpretting what I've bolded, since I only saw that post and decided to answer.

God didn't write the Book of Leviticus.

Aren't you aware that another name for the Bible is "God's Word"?  From the theological aspect, he spoke through different people in time which gives us the collection of books we have now.

Exactly. God spoke to different people and those people wrote their interpretations down. Then some stories were cut, some were added and others were altered. You can't expect man to flawlessly write down God's word. That's why man can't be the judge, only God can.

I must admit that I am a little lost with where you're going with this.  What are you trying to say about men "judging" others?  You're right on the spot about God being the only judge, but there's a difference between Christians "judging" and Christians trying to uphold God's Word to their utmost ability.  Of course, there's many interpretations for the Bible; but in this case, it seems fairly cut and dry when it comes to this subject.

I'm saying that as christians, we should not judge other people, but live our own life as best as we can. That means we should not do anything against other people, like denying homosexuals right. In fact, we should not act out of judgement ever. That means we must not prosecute murderers and rapists and that we should not go to war with another country. Doing that is acting like God, which is the worst a christian can do.

Can we please just agree on the point that Christians should be against homosexuality regardless? I don't see why that's such an issue.
From the other side, if there is no moral code because there is no higher power, then why is anything else evil? There isn't some sort of sliding scale. Evil should be black and white, that's why someone (even if it wasn't God) set down the biblical laws.

This kind of thinking is very dangerous. Nothing is black and white and it's a common error among religious people to think that without a higher power, there's no moral code. People who don't believe in any God are prefectly able to figure out for themselves what's right and wrong. I'd argue their moral code is stronger since they KNOW why certain things are wrong instead of blindly following what someone else told them is right.

And what does what he is or says matter in the first place?

You already know the answer to your own question.

No, I don't. Tell me. And make it a good one.

Inspiring people to write it is not the same as writing it himself. This means that it's quite possible that the people added a lot from themselves, or downright lied (most probable scenario), and tried to make the world in their own image.

I`m fine with that! ;)

About the other quote: i thought you knew that God was the creator of all things and that He loves us. Of course you won`t believe neither.
