So basically they don't care now all of a sudden?  after years of talking shit about no games and 8m GAP and ps3 not selling well? sweet thats exactly what I just said.

And if only trolls care about this stuff then Im pretty sure almost all of members here in VGC are trolls then since at one point they did discuss this topic which means they care, heck your here posting you obviously care other wise why would you get your self into a discussion about something you have no interest in its not like your forced to post here.

More like: 360 wins, we care and celebrate the numbers.  PS3 wins, we discredit the numbers and/or call people who still care trolls/losers.

Yep.  The 360 is like the first person in his family to go to college, and gets his degree and gets starts up his own small buisness.  While the PS3 is like the guy who's parents expected him to be a doctor, and pushed him real hard until he burned out, quit yale and right before his parents thought he'd never move out... opened up a similarly sized buisness across the way.

People could make hundreds of threads about what you said..

You were their telling people PS3 has no games;..you were their laughing your ass off when DQX got announced for Wii and how this will be the end of PS3 and how all devs will now make games only for Wii and will stop making games for PS3 especially in Japan, you were their saying how the porn industry bacs kup HD-DVD and how Blu Ray will be dead, you were their calling people idiots who said Wii will not reach 50% marketshare at the end of this gen and a lot more stuff...  At the end Pachter compared to you looks like a great analyst..

You are not a mean person, most of the older members know you unemployed and used your frustration to make fun of the PS3, I admit it was fun at the beginning and your posts made some sense, but when PS3 was doing better and your predictions one by one end up wrong you first become annoying with only picking up the things you were right in and trying to still make fun of PS3  'Sure the PS3 was lucky and sold more than the Dreamcast but will it pass the GC?' And then you ended up an horrible annoying person, most of the users who were making fun of PS3 back then dissapeared or simply stopped talking shit about PS3... but no, you went on and when your post did not made any sense anymore and even N-fans and mods were critizing you,  you showed who you were really are,  you worked your frustration on the mods, you didn't stop posting how mods were sucking and then you became pathetic with creating thread after thread how mods suck and how vg was an horrible place;..you got banned for a week and managed to create 17 new accounts to complain again...  'Why is AoA banned?  why is Okey banned' you were not alone though you Weezy, Konnichiwa, AoA and the rest of idiots fucking up the forums with complaining about the site.. 

You are damned lucky that what after you did the mods let you came back but it is only sad you didn't changed and that you are now even (using an famous VG term) cherrypicking on the stuff you were right about while everyone who has been here for some time you said a lot of stuff that end up wrong..

Momentum into next generation?

Well Sony has never really sold a console and actually made money on the hardware. How are they going to cope when they can't just lose $6B with no hope to repay it in order to stay in the console business? They aren't following up the PS2 so they couldn't just release any old crap and expect people to buy it anymore.

Nintendo is probably fine if they can figure out how to make 90% of people happy with their console rather than 45%, however their momentum with core video game players with online especially is quite poor. Online has been a terrible weakness for them.

Microsoft on the other hand has heaps of money to do what they want with. They can lose money on the hardware or not and still make more than enough profit. They have the flexibility to go either way really and their USP is in services and OSes rather than exclusive games. Since games will be expensive the key to winning will be the player who provides the best overall experience since games will not be making consoles unique anymore. I think their business model works best out of the three in the next generation so they carry the most momentum.
