ME1 was really nice port - they greatly adjusted controls to maximise K M benefits and greatly improved Mako.
Both of them were bugless for me when i played them shortly after release.

I bought ME 1 on the 360 and when I got my new PC I bought it again for it (cheaper amd with the first DLC included). I found them to be almost the same.
I bought ME 2 directly on the PC and I throughly enjoyed it, and 3 will also be played on the PC.
Now if only EA launches a GOTY edition of ME 2 with all the DLCs for cheap... *sigh*
Please excuse my bad English.

In August 2010 I bought a new computer to buy this Saga and that might have been the most intelligent purchase I ever made!!
You should try Dragon Age Origins on PC now and enjoy that great game as it must be played.

I bought DAO day one for the PC. Best PC game of 2009 to me, and second best 2009 game as well, only behind Demon's Souls

It seems a lot of people didn't have any kind of problems with ME1 on the PC. I'll have to tweak around the forceware to see if there's any configuration that's causing the texture issues for me.

I've gotta say I didn't like I didn't really like the first one on 360, the story and conversations were good imo but the gameplay was bleh for me. And the framerate was poor.
The PC made everything feel much better in the gameplay, and better framerate ofcourse.
I never played the 2nd on on xbox 360... for obvious reasons. But it's my favorite bioware game besides BG2
I hope the 3rd one contains things like what was in overlord (Hammerhead). Cause it makes the planets feel so much bigger... and the hammerhead was so much better than th emako imo.
ME1's graphics had alot more problems on the PC for me... Wherea's the graphics problems either weren't there, or didn't bother me at ME2. I
Hey hey hey HEY HEY HEY.
Wait a minute.
What class are you playing?
I played both ME1&2 on PC and I was blown away by the continuity of the story by using the game's most unique features, the saves exportation.
I played a red haired character, the bitchiest ruthless Specter of the galaxy, as a full Renegade ME1&2 run. ME2 is simpliest than ME1, especially in the inventory system. The exploration in ME2 is just very bad imho compared to ME1.
But in term of story, I found ME2 having far more depth, at least in your party sidestories. The suicide mission is pretty epic.
I second the ' try Dragon Age Origin' move.... BUT I would much rather advice you to try The Witcher if you haven't already.

Those red eyes are pretty eerie >_<.
I've tried the Witcher as well, though I didn't enjoy it much.
