Forums - Sony - Third Attack Against Sony Planned?

Hynad said:

The more attacks they make, the more they're likely to slip and expose themselves.

yet's hope that's exactly what happens, so the bastards can't do it anymore.

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

You know what would be epic hillarity?

Anon hacks into Sony and track down the real hacker(s).

DDoS attack = first

PSN outage = second

Whatever this is is a possible third.

But if anon did that, that'd be hilarious^infinite

This post is glitchin...

A bitter reply this is. What did they do to you I wonder?

On topic, the article says: "The Hackers claim they currently have access to some of Sony's servers."

I presume they are not refering to the servers currently turned off and being rebuilt with no doubt different architechture, access rights and firewalls.

Only time will tell. Who's knows if they got insiders at sony. Most likely not but maybe sony pissed off some workers too.  "GO BACK TO WORK DOUCHE BAG." THATS IT I'M GOING TO F THEM UP"  Maybe something like that. LOL No probably not.

Sony did try to trample on rights and others don't take kindly to that.

Insiders are usually the easiest to find and get to so I doubt anything as simple as that is a reason for access. Hackers exploited weaknesses in security and firewalls to get in. The is probably as big of an issue for the server security providers Sony hired as much as Son'y themselves (I doubt Sony developed it's own  security software, instead pays thousands a month for a provided service).

If these people were really doing it because of Rights abuses, I can think of many more worth while candidates to attack then Sony. All companies are subject to customer rights violations, from little details in EULAs meaning you can't do things you do everyday to tracking your movement wherever you go without telling people.

I could see it being an insider though, considering how intimate their information was on all of the PSNs around the world, they probably had some inside help.

Whoever these guys are, they are ballsey enough to announce their attack in advance while the whole world is monitoring this. Its like these hackers live on high risk and I could see people like that having people inside the company.

Supposedly they are only going after the websites not psn. so...

In any case I think Anon needs to back off now, they made their point and another attack will cloud any innocence that they might have held on to.

How about you keep your unfounded allegations to yourself, I am sick of this guilty untill proved innocent attitude that everyone has.

Way to miss the point I'm making there buddy, lemme say it another way.

A guy is attacked in an alleyway and points the finger at you. You say you had nothing to do with it but it's no secret that you punched him in the face just last week (DDoS). Whilst you did punch him last week, it doesn't compare to this attack (Collaps3) . So to cover yourself and prove you had nothing to do with the 2nd attack you threaten a 3rd...

If you are smart, you will stand aside and let the truth come out. contrary to what Anon believes the right to modify your system has been completely overshadowed by potential identity theft of not one but millions of people. something they claim to be completely against.  In summar: somethings are bigger than you and what you want, with regards to Anon, this is one of those situations, so I say they need to back off or at least not plan an "attack" so close to the others.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Owww the protection of home and attack a damaged oponent while they are busy with other things and you can hide in the mass and computer... gotta love those hackers super heroes.

The wallstreet bankers have done more damage than anyone ever but I don't see that kind of rage against them. LOL.
