Forums - Sony - Tales Of Graces F Exclusive To PS3 Confirmed!

Tales of Vesperia is one of the best selling Tales of games in the West. If you need evidence look at the NPD numbers posted in this thread. I don't know why you keep telling yourself about the typical Xbox 360 owners hate jrpg when the PS3 owners are any different. Your typical PS3 owner don't like JRPG, I mean look at the top selling games for the PS3.

Tales of Vesperia isn't really one of the best. The VGChartz numbers only seem to show Japanese numbers for some reason, but there are 8 main series Tales games that outsold Vesperia, most of which only include Japanese sales figures.

And I know the typical XBOX 360 owners because I see them at school, and I have to put up with them on XBOX Live. I don't know why you seem to disagree with me over this, I am not being fanboyish but it's the truth.

Compare the top 10 games sold for each console...

XBOX 360

8 Shooters

1 Kinect game

1 Action adventure / shooter

0 Japanese games

PS3

4 Shooters

3 Action adventure / shooters

1 Racing

1 JRPG

1 Action adventure

3 Japanese games

...The difference is clearly there.

How about Japanese games in the top 50...

XBOX 360 - 1

PS3 - Roughly 10 (not sure which games published by SONY were actually developed in Japan so I left them out.)

Like I said before, I am not trying to be an ass. The difference is there.

Drop it, please. Most of those games are well known stablized franchises, some of wich, are also the top selling Xbox 360 games (that only do not appear on the front page because PS3 sells a little better its japanese games, it's a no brainer this one). Some of them are on the second page. Like SF4, wich has little difference between the two systems, and FFXIII, this one was a timed exclusive in japan.

And see for yourself what Sony first party developing trend is for their userbase! Some of their best games, like Uncharted. Is Uncharted japanese? God of War, Killzone, Ratchet and Clank, Resistance,Little Big Planet... Is any of those... Japeinise? :O

Yeah, i think not. Also, i love japanese games, and play them all the time on the Xbox 360. How could i play them on the Xbox 360 if there would be no japanese gamers to support this games? And yes, i even mean exclusives.

Stop bragging about how Xbox users do not like japanese games. It's getting anoying.

@ i agree with brendude on SOME points, MS tried to buy some JRPGs to establish a base in Japan, not a bad idea but it failded pretty badly. But im sure those JRPGs devs got some money upfront, not sure about MS

Wow i get a warning for saying people ill still buy late exclusive but you say 360 owners have no respect for jrpgs.

you didn't get a warning,  you got an argument, I was not acting as a moderator or admin.

Personally I feel that the Wii might be the harshest environment for jRPGs, but I won't know if that's true or not until Xenoblade and TLS get a chance in the West and we won't be lucky enough for a direct multiplat comparison unless Rune Factory: Oceans gets localized on both platforms.

Good news!
