It seems very wise to not launch any new 3DS game for Golden Week ...

It really is going to be a very interesting battle between 3DS and NGP.

and yea it does seem very strange and tbh stupid to not launch any new titles and promote new HW with them. Now I wonder how the HW will look like

I personally think there are a lack of 3DS games because well...

They aren't ready yet.

I think Nintendo launched it way too early, just so they could fit it in the FY and not make things look worse than they were. Games simply aren't ready for the system yet... Should have launched the system towards the end of the Year.

I think that Nintendo rushed the 3DS in order to be ready to announce the Wii's successor at this E3 so it could have all the conference to itself. Either ways we are seeing the consequences on the lack of SW right now.
