Forums - PC - So Steam flipping rocks (and some updates)

I'm sure some of you have been wondering how my experimentation with my new computer has gone, well, I've returned with results and they are amazing. But the real story is, apparently Steam now automatically updates your graphics drivers so you don't have to worry about it anymore! That is awesome because I really didn't want to go out of my way just to install some driver updates. Very convenient ya know?

As for benchmarking...

Games running at maximum settings:

Half-Life 2/Episode One/Two/Deathmatch

Team Fortress 2

Left 4 Dead

Portal

Fallout 3

Doom 3

Star Wars Battlefront/II*

Star Wars Republic Commando*

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas*

StarCraft: Brood War*

*Thrown on there just for the lulz.

StarCraft II runs on high settings and is as smooth as silk with programs like Steam and Xfire running :D
