Everytime you post a political thread that will result in flames, a Car eats a beagle

Please think of the beagles.

 

 Assuming your POV is more logical and the other is not well thought out is extremely egocentric. Most people vote for what they honestly believe is best for the world, even if they are wrong, that includes you.

 

I tested nearly dead center and it said my closest political figures to my beliefs are Ghandi and Gerald Ford. Which seems accurate to me.

My position on the economical scale is probably slightly more extreme than it really is, but I guess it's an American-made test, and a very liberal European like me would seem like an lunatic in American politics anyway. =P

 I wonder what leftist americans like Chomskyists and Wallersteinians votes for. Obama and Clinton are both more right wing that swedish right wing parties (extremists excluded) :)

I've heard lots of leftist Americans arguing between the points of "We must vote for the least evil candidate!" and "We must vote for the candidate closest to our views, even if he has no chance of winning!".

Can't honestly say I have any idea of what I'd do in the same situation. =/
