I like shelving my games, I like having my games available to me at all times, I like lending out my games, I like that my games actually hold some monetary value, I have 80 GB a month to use and I always reach my cap (without even using PSN or Live), I like that I can rent out my games, I like visiting stores, I like looking through bargain bins, I like having cool covers, I like that I have a choice between ten different stores that are competing for my money, I like that a developer and publisher can be properly rewarded with $27 upfront (instead of $5 at the next Steam sale), I like that it takes me much less time to go out and buy a game from a store than it would if I had to download it and I like knowing with certainty that any games I buy will still be around in 10 years time. 

It's not going to be the next generation, but if we go fully digital in the generation after, then I'm out, not going to even bother and at that point I'll probably have better and cheaper hobbies to take up my time.

I hate these developers and their terrible DD only vision.

I can not wait until physical media is on the way out. Almost there. DD is the future guys, just look at the music, movie, and tv industires.

it would be bad for all those people who dont have internet access or a good enough connection to download games but truthfully my internets fine so i really couldnt care if all games go digital or physical

I'm on board with you. What do you do to use up your cap. I just realized I got a 250 GB cap. How much do you use just playing online. Or is this just for downloading things. Sounds stupid but I'm not exactly sure what they are counting as usage. The cap sh-t has to go. what a way to get around not upgrading and making your product worth it.

Just look at the caps that the internet providers are attaching on because they don't want to upgrade there tech. Well lets just charge more instead of doing the right thing and upgrade our system.

Demos, membership on Crunchyroll, downloads, Youtube, porn, lots of high resolution pictures and the just the general browsing. If I had to add 5 x 6 GB downloads to that, then my cap would be done within the first week.

Not a  problem in the US just yet. The only cap I know of is att and even then its at 150 or 250 gigs a month.

i like my movies with uncompressed full 1080p, with lossless, uncompresssed, 7.1 surround sound. thankyou.

i also dont like waiting hours to download a movie with bluray quality, then never actually owning it.

and with my movie collection and game collection, i would need terabytes of hardrive space. and God forbid anything happen to all that data.

music is way different. it takes up a ton ton ton less space, and people like listening to it on the go. it has no visual component to it, you just listen. games and movies require a lot more of your attention and time, and also take up Gb of space. and games are just going to get bigger next gen. can you imagine how long it would take me to download KZ3 from the internet, and then multiply that by a lot for next gen. 

internet infrastructure is not stong enough to support things like that.
