Most probably Ayman al-Zawahiri, who is almost certainly now the leader of al-Qaeda.

Gadaffi?

Under this administration, I don't see the government manufacturing a bogeyman to replace bin Laden.

And we're all the better for it.

Probably Castro or Kim Jong--Team America's work isn't done, yet!

You say it like were all afraid of one individual. As if Bin Laden was basically a guy to scare us. Honestly I don't think of Sadam , Osama or Kim Jong Il as boogey men. I see them as Hitlers. Who's the next hitler? Well we already have two Gaddafi and Assad. Syria and Libya's leaders are killing hundreds to thousands on a regular basis.

Who will be the next guy to strike fear into America or Europe? I really have no clue because if someone did we'd already know of him. But I guess this thread was a joke so hahahahaha!

Ha, I posted something similar to this on a status update on facebook.

According to Neocon theory by Carl Schmitt, you have to have an enemy image to keep the society together. So rest assured the US government and media will waste little time in zeroing in on a new boogieman, in which they will attempt to keep us all scared and rally us into more ridiculous wars, while stripping us of more liberties. And the American people will continue to buy into the bs. Before it was those mad Russians, then strangely out of the blue, the Middle Eastern "terrorists" magically became the enemy.

I'm inclined to believe it will be Kim Jong Ill, but somehow I can't see the US government provoking this guy too much, as he probably scares the hell outta them with his heavy anti american agressive attitude and his nuclear arms. But I'm sure they'll find some other Middle Eastern leader to rally against.

The USA itself... all those people knocking on the door complaining about the debt increase....And what kind of measures will be taken...  It is going to hurt the next ten years and what kind of an country will it be in ten years...
