Something that doesn't look like a jagged and blurry mess on a 1080p display is actually a good start.

Personally, I'd rather play Wii level graphics games on a handheld as they will at least be sharp and well defined, even if being rendered at 640x480 or even the 400x240 of the 3DS.

The Wii itself looks best on an old SD/ED CRT. Not many people using those considering a 1080p display costs under $200 these days.

well the main reason i think will be better 3rd party support, look at all the 3rd party games released in 2011 non of them are on wii, so with wii2/cafe things should change

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

So in the end...it's all about the graphics right?

Look for the CORE gamer, if Nintendo will have nothing to offer than one Mario Kart game, one Super Mario game and one Zelda game once again for a whole generation (in Nintendo's terms that's 5 years), then I can't see many of them jumping on this new console.
