ive download this well over 10 times. when i use to have exams i would delete all my games on my phone soI would not get side tracked. Mindyou this was the FREE version,so I don't think these shold be counted, otherwise we can start tracking piracy numbers too lol.

also you got those people who keep changing their iphones at the rate they change their underware.

Now I have truly heard it all, lol!

Time to message Brett and tell him that Wii Sports is no longer the best selling exclusive title ever on home consoles. Only the Japanese version counts.

nahus aussies subsidiesed the world for wii sports with our oever the top wii charges

So, in summary. Angry Birds is great because sales = quality, in the same way that Bieber is great because she has lots of youtube views. Interesting.

Anyway, just a mere few hundred million sales to go before they match the revenue of an average console game, then we can really get on board with the Rovio 'consoles are dying' mantra!

Angry Birds is awesome. It really helps to shorten waiting times and is quite addictive It definitely deserves its downloads.

Why are people so upset about this? App Store downloads share a lot with what made the Wii successful (they are disruptive - gosh I said it!) and offer lots of quality games - sure your average app store game isn't an epic RPG (or too expensive, huh Square?) but value and price are in good balance.

Do I sense some double standarts?

Damned game has cost me so much valuable time in my life

Amazing.

When a game sells more than certain other games we decide to talk about revenue.

Reaaaaaaally is amazing.

@UncleScrooge... A whole bunch of double standards.

Nikkom successfully trolled every single hardcore gamer on VGC with this thread... I have a new respect for him, and will learn much from this.

Come on Carl, you need to see the bigger picture if we're ever going to see our mutual dream come true.

They're not going to take down the big players in gaming like Nintendo, Microsoft, EA and Activision like Vesterbacka keeps going on about if they don't start making a bit more money.

It's time to seriously monetise this train ride all the way to the top of the mountain!

I don't want them to take down the big players.

I want people to recognise that mobile gaming is big... And is getting bigger and bigger.

Simply chatting shit about the devices/games is stupid. People should be banned/warned for it just like they are for shitting on DS/PSP games.

Besides, if you want to talk about uber big companies no one talks or cares about, you just have to bring up Zynga.

Zynga has more daily players on Facebook than likely play PS3s, 360s and Wiis on a daily basis, combined. They have more people playing their games on a monthly basis than people that own all three consoles, combined.

Yet you won't find much discussion about them on VGC. Of course, its hard to discuss them when they are a private company, and few here would readily admit to playing their games :-p

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
