When playing Bioshock I was like "Oh cool", when playing SMG I was like "Wow man".

Take from that what you will people.

Super Mario Galaxy wins by default because it got a higher rating on Game Rankings and Metacritic. Done.

No. It is not for children. It is rated "E" for "Everyone," no "C" for "Children." You have not played the game. You assume that it is childish, because you are either a Sony fan boy, or a Microsoft fan boy, and you do not like the Wii, and you do not like Mario. You should not make such an incorrect, universal statement on some thing as grand as Mario. Besides, a game is nothing but lights, projecting off a screen, and sound, therefore, any "child" factor is simply imaginary. Grow up, stop dismissing masterpieces, for such ridiculous nonesense, and perhaps, widen your appeal in the gaming world.

 Well, sales are a factor to consider.  But I think (and this is off the top of my head) 1-2 dozen Nintendo published games have sold more than Halo.  SMG will also beat Halo in sales.  Do you think Halo 3 will beat Halo and/or Halo 2?

It doesn't deserve to.

BioShock is an amazing game, truly an outstanding experience and by far the best 360 game.

HOWEVER, this has been an excellent year and I believe that The Orange Box is better then BioShock by a little bit and of course, Super Mario Galaxy is better then them both...I personally believe it to be the best game ever made

The true order:

1. Super Mario Galaxy (10)

2. The Orange Box (9.9)

3. BioShock (9.7) 

Bioshock was a fine game. Can't say I'm a real fan of SMG, it was fun regardless.

For me, it'd be a tie; they're both good games in my book but I can't tell which is better.
