Are Xenoblade, TLS, Pandora, DQX coming to USA after the Wii 2 announcement

Yes, all of them are coming 26 32.10%

Yes, we will see at least 1 31 38.27%

Nope, we're seeing none 7 8.64%

Gimme Reggie's address 17 20.99%

Total:81

I can see DQX coming, and maybe TLS, but i have given up hope for Xenoblade. and as for Pandora's Tower, i just dont think we will see that game.

I'm still waiting for my Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love...

Kooloo Limpah, absolutely right. Tingle is still very sad  for not being able to play a localized version :(.

Xenoblade will be released in USA, no doubt. Pandora's Tower not. The Last Story and Dragon Quest X 50:50.

Well, Xenoblade is coming to the EU, so I expect a NA release would follow. But we also have Disaster and Another Code, and you have Excitebots, so I wouldn't trust Nintendo...

TLS is almost a definite I think, wait for E3

We have to wait and see the reaction for Pandora's Tower

DQX? No question. Definitely after the success of IX...

The other games, who knows. But I wouldn't hold your breath for any of them. ToG is the most likely, but Namco have screwed Nintendo over so much this gen you have to wonder why they even bother.

Of course, if you're reading Namco...PLEASE LOCALISE ToG FOR THE WII!!!!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Does it matter?  Im sure all the games listed will flop anyway, why waste money and resources translating a game for poor sales?  Guess Nintendo didnt learn anything from Sin and Punishment.

How does this add to the thread?  And you're calling the games a flop before they've come out and doing it without basis or content, there are rules about that you know?  Chill with this sort of thing cause it's very dangerously close to that okay/not okay line, eventually it catches up to people.

It adds to the thread because one of the options to choose is "Nope, we're not seeing none" and I gave my reasons why.  Insight is a funny thing, you can draw from examples already on the system, like Sin and Punishment and apply it to each of the titles listed and get an idea of how the games will sell.  I dont need the games to be released to get an answer, the Wii userbase already tells me so.

But whatever

Sin and Punishment (a niche rail shooter) is a terrible game to use as a sales gauge for JRPGs, Monster Hunter Tri would be the best example (for Xenoblade, DQX and TLS anyway) being a action RPG that was advertised by Nintendo but even that is probably not the best as the franchise has never been popular in the west and is a very hard game that would turn away casual players. With the right advertising Xenoblade, DQX and TLS should easaly match if not do better than MH3 in the west.

As for the other games Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World should be a decent gauge that did ~200k in the USA which I am sure more than covered the localisation.
