Sin and Punishment (a niche rail shooter) is a terrible game to use as a sales gauge for JRPGs, Monster Hunter Tri would be the best example (for Xenoblade, DQX and TLS anyway) being a action RPG that was advertised by Nintendo but even that is probably not the best as the franchise has never been popular in the west and is a very hard game that would turn away casual players. With the right advertising Xenoblade, DQX and TLS should easaly match if not do better than MH3 in the west.
As for the other games Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World should be a decent gauge that did ~200k in the USA which I am sure more than covered the localisation.
