Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Europe get the good wine, the good cheese, the good ham and also Xenoblade :(

Ok...8 out of 11 titles coming out on Wii in NA are movie games...lawl

Terrible Q2 US lineup for the Wii, which consists of licensed games on 90% of the cases

And the Japanese 3rd party line up is tragic as well. Well, it was all pointing to a Wii 2 release, but these upcoming year will be VERY tough for the Wii. The droughts will be endless.

I can't wait for E3 now.

Hopefully Xenoblade comes out later this year in the US. And hoping America and EMAA get Last Story.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

No.

no to what part?  not being able to announce anything until the end of the year means it isn't coming out this year.  with the recent announcement it isn't much of a stretch to think they'll put it there rather than what is already an almost dead console.

No to a Wii 2 release. The game's almost done according to what he said, they're not going to switch it now. You think SE would not know about the Wii 2 not even a month before Nintendo say a new console is coming? It would be pointless to switch it now since the game's still going to sell very well. Plus the Wii 2 is going to have a very low userbase by the time DQ X is out (the game should release before the Wii 2 is out anyway) and DQ always goes to the platform with the highest sales.

maybe .. i'll just say if it were my property i wouldn't be betting on the wii.

"All we can say is that development is going well and we're on the last parts of the game. We can't really share much else at this point, but by the end of this year we should be able to announce something regarding it."

Yes. The game is almost done... But there wont be anything seen from the game until the end of the Year? That sounds strange if you ask me. All that time with a completed game, yet not letting anything at all see the light of day? Not releasing it when it's done? Sounds like they're just stalling for, you know, a port...

By the way, if DQ always goes to the platform with the highest sales, then DQX would have had its development on the DS... Not the Wii.

Also. Actually. Think about it. The game was nearly finished but nothing could be announced at all. Why couldn't they announce or show anything until the end of the Year if the game's almost finished? I think I know why...
