Didn't we have wii selling over 3 million in Americas when they sold 2.3 million. 

VGC need to do something about their tracking system. This is downright horrible, normally the diffrence should be 1-2 million but here VGC figures are even above Nintendo shipment for both systems.

Think overtracking in EMEAA mostly in both 3rd and 4th qtr, but also some in Americas. I dont recall any adjustments yet for March in US even after NPD came out and wasnt NPD like 90K lower than VGC for US?

Wii shipped 15.01, and Sony announcing 50 mill means to some it's only reached 50 mill, some are saying beyond that. But you're right, they could very well beat their projection if they were on course to reach it, it's only 100k after all.

I expect Sony to beat Wii's 13 mill projection next year, that'll probably slide to below 12 mill anyway, going by the fact Nintendo have adjusted the Wii forecast 3 times in a row now ... 18 > 17.5 > 16 > 15.01
