Demon's Souls is the hardest game you will ever play for about the first 5 hours, after that if you still are having difficulty you probably should stick to your FPS guns lolz.
It's still extremely hard unless you read the walk-through in the Black Phantom edition or guides on the internet, which by some people is considered cheating.
I would have to disagree, once you learn what white/black tendency is, everything in the game is at your diposal. The game does not have tons of gear or weapons like other rpgs, and everything is neatly seperated into each level. The game is quite organized between white and black tendency and that is what makes it very simple to get everything in each level.
But you can't even figure out what black/white tendency is without a guide or someone telling you!
It was pretty simple really, there was a world tendency screen in the menu. Every time I defeated a level in one of the worlds, it turned brighter. Not sure how everything else didin't fall into place for you.
You must be some kind of genious then. So did you even figure out that some NPCs only spawned at a certain world tendency?
Everyone else here on VGC needed guides for Demon's Souls and thought the game was very hard, it's a well established fact. Just go look up all the DS threads on the Sony boards or the official thread.

Everyone needs to get used to tough games then. That's the only way to play games, on their hard to hardest difficulties.
@DrGrass: No. I've given DS a mere 122 hours of gameplay, too. It's just my opinion - the patterns in the game are so simple that I want to cry when I read these OMG HARDZ posts.
@regular SFIV player: got an arcade stick? :P
