Nintendo has sold more handheld consoles than anyone. Why have a controller with a screen in? Why not use DS?

This seems more logical to me, but I guess we'll have to see.

Well, I will go with that the 3DS will be A controller option for the next Nintendo console.  Imagine also that the next Nintendo console also plays 3DS games.
