I am having some trouble reaching Platinum status on Club.Nintendo this year. I have already amassed 500 points for the calendar year, so I only have 100 left to go. I won't be purchasing a 3DS until roughly August. (mid year bonus)

I was wondering if anyone was kind enough to aid me in getting platinum status for this year, as I am a Nintendo Collector of sorts.

I'll be honest - I am in a financial bind at the moment after lending someone I considered to be my best friend $8,000 (ie all my money at the time) so that he would have been able to keep his house and car, after which i was politely asked to take a paycut at the company I work at due to the financial climate. Subsequently my "friend" has yet to pay me more than $500 of the $8000 he has owed me for the past 6 months, so I have been basically living more than within my means, trying to pay off student loans, credit cards, car payments etc.

So if anyone has the charitable means within them to help me out on this endeavour please PM me. Last year around this time, I gifted people games for codes, however this year I am not able to unfortunately.

I don't own a WIi or a current DS and I read up on the whole thing thinking it worked like Trophies and that I could help, but I understand your problem now. The best I can do is bump your thread a little, someone else might notice it in Hot Topics or something.

I'd also recommend that you make better life decisions. The only person I lent money to was my cousin and even then I didn't make it easy on him and I made sure I got all my money back ($3000) within a month. Anyway, hopefully someone notices.

I would like to help you but i don't think that UK Wii codes work with Club Nintendo USA, but i do have a Mario Golf and Wareware Twisted! codes from a USA gba (if they still work) game that i never used if you want it?

Yeah, I here you on the life decisions thing... It has reallt changed my attitude towards lending money. I am the type of person that would give away everything to a friend if it oculd change their life... as long as I wasn't being cheated or swindled... however  - you live, you learn.

My uber Wii bundle was stolen, so can't help you...

Just want to say sorry about the bad luck. Someone still owes me a lot of money as well. Don't think I'll ever get it back - lesson learnt though

I would love to help but I lost my job and have been living on assisted living for the last half year. So the few games I buy I regester myself. Sorry but I hope some Nintendo fans have some extra codes for you. I was in the same predicament until I bought my 3DS.
