Why don't you try and contribuit and stop wallowing in these threads? I feel sorry for Nintendo fans having to put up with doom and gloom not only from Sony/MS fans, but from Nintendo fans as well ...

Without any SW or focus on Wii, I can't see a $30 cut doing significant numbers ... so I expect an average of 130/150k over the summer.

WITHOUT a price cut ... I don't expect it to go below 85k ...

Japan - 5k
Americas - 40k
EMEAA - 40k

Credit where it's due, the console was bound to fail, and it didn't. It changed the world, so a few months of average sales won't change that...

6 years if the Wii2 releases in 2012, as is predicted. I don't think we'll see much of anything at E3 TBH. If we do only a vague hint of something, not a full-blown reveal like the 3DS last year...


i'm not going to argue for or against the fad argument. but the fact is wii sales didn't just start droping, they've been dropping since 2007.

And yet it's STILL on par with the other two consoles, as proven by your signature, which doesn't look too good for the HD consoles..

Your predictions seem fairly accurate, but 5k in Japan is a bit low for my liking. Even with the current trends...I don't see it falling much harder personally.But I've been wrong before...
