Need for Speed Shift is doing really badly. Maybe they should have just waited until the holiday season to release it. Being released so soon after Hot Pursuit and GT5 seems to have been its death sentence.

3DS is doing OK, but it needs some compelling software soon, OoT 3D is not good enough

Didn't the shitstorm about how harmful the 3DS is from the tabloit news cause the sudden drop in 3DS sales?
If I'm not mistaken DS had a slow first year...yep it only sold 10.9 million first (full) year. So 3Ds is probably on track to follow the same pattern as DS and it'll ramp it up in year 2 then explode in year 3.

Those are some seriously abysmal software sales. It's down roughly 25% on the same week last year, and there were no large releases in either of the years.
Those are some piss-poor numbers. Is the market saturating, or is it a slow period...price cuts needed, maybe?

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
I think Nintendo is actually right now, I don't think a price cut will help the 360/PS3 that much anymore, we are simply nearly market saturation :/ time to release a new console
