Here is the low down on what to expect from Nintendo at E3 this year.

 

THINGS WE KNOW THEY WILL SHOW: With speculation ramping up, and the Wii slowly approaching that 43-million unit milestone, I think E3 will be the proper time to fully unveil the Wii2, or just tease it. Another thing that they will show is at least one system selling hardcore, first-party Wii title. Kirby won't sell many systems, so that title will probably be this new IP that Miyamoto teased last year. One last thing that I think they will show is the North American localization of either Pandora's Tower, Xenoblade, or The Last Story. Oh wait I forgot about Super Mario 3DS. That will be shown too.

 

THINGS THEY MIGHT SHOW: Kirby would seem like a decent fit for E3, so will the vitality sensor. The vitality sensor wasn't shown last year because Nintendo "didn't think it was the right venue". If they do show it, it will probably debut with that new console I mentioned earlier. Another "iffy" title is a new Star Fox, or F-Zero. We don't know what Retro is making,and a lot of their second party studios have been quiet lately so who knows what they will have to show.

THINGS THEY PROBABLY WON'T SHOW: On top of things they may not show, we have Pikmin 3. If anything, EAD4 is working on an entirely diffrent game. Another thing they may not show is Retro's latest priject, which just started after DKCR launched.

This is what I think they will show.

I'm guessing Xeno/The Last Story/Kirby/ Zelda (natch) and Starfox for Wii maybe Pandora's Tower.

WiiHD reveal - probably some footage showing graphical power and if there's a new control input device how that work but little else.  (Depends on if it launches early or later 2012)

New games for 3DS (not interested personally, don't care)

We don;t know that they will show the next console, at best its a maybe



Rumors indicate that it is planning on following the first approach, sticking a new, motion-sensitive controller onto an existing console. Our perspective is that this is the worst of the three options.

Zelda, TLS, xenoblade, Kirby, Pandora´s tower, unknown 1 & 2 for the wii & Lots of 3ds games---> Just how more awesome can that be?!!!

 A new wii... Hmm, I cannot say I am excited but I still love my wii, and there are several games I want to play before the announce a new console...

I think they will NOT show the new console, they don´t have anything ready for it and they don´t show just hardware, also this is the last year of the Wii and they should not move the focus to something else at least till these holyday season because they can lose a lot of sales to people waiting for the next Nintendo console. Maybe they can admit that they are working on it, but nothing else.

By now, Nintendo's new console is already done. I mean, they've had since 2001 to work on the new console. Wii just added the controls, the overall system was the same as the GC, save for a few other details. If Nintendo wanted they could release their next console tomorrow. I still don't want to say that they will 100% show the new console, I'd expect them to do so later in the year, but who knows. If they do show it then it will release early next year at the latest, else it will launch right after next E3.
