I was about to say, if this is the ps version (without any alterations), I will never pick this up, no one in hell will I play that version ever. 

@Euphoria14, none of the Final Fantasy games that are ports, received Trophies.

Great news. Hopefully they'll remake it with trophies and other extras, instead of just releasing it as a PSOne Classic. :)

id b more excited had i not already own this 4 GBA, now bring 0n 5 cause, the ps1 versuon is crap n the GBA 1 is real expensive

To be fair, it's only really horrible because of the ridiculous load times.  Still though, it better be the GbA version because that's by far the best version.

Well if the load times were terrible on PS1 then wouldn't they be lot better on classic version since both PS3 hdd and memory stick are faster than cd drive in first playstation ?

I've only got FF8 downloaded from the PS Store, but once this releases I might just buy 6, 7 and 9 to play the best FF

so the VC got it not too long ago and now the PSN, good as it is easily IMO the best FF game and RPG ever made

Even if it's the PS1 version, hopefully we can use the PSP/PS3 option of speeding up the load times.  Isn't this game the one that was sold with Chrono Trigger?  If so, I think I shall jizz my pants.

*edit*  No.  It was Final Fantasy IV that was packed with Chrono Trigger.  Now I shall place the previously mentioned jizz back into its original container.  This may take a while......
