I have this game now more than a week and I am honestly blown away ^^';.

I like Conquest mode and when i started story mode I couldn't believe what i saw;.

I am very happy with the changes and the effort Koei has put in the game;.

Any other fans of DW? =p?  What are your impressons?

I was extremely interested in this game until I actually heard more about it. While they did add a whole new dynasty and several decades of story, the story mode was still cut short for every kingdom - in one case, even shorter than before (Wei's story ends at Fan Castle). Also, story mode battles can't be played as any other character besides the pre-designated one which is a huge drawback. Conquest mode sure sounds like lots of fun but the fact that I can't freely play story mode battles as any character pretty much kills the game for me, as much as they've otherwise improved.

On the other hand, I'm fairly confident they'll be able to fix what's broken without breaking too much more in the next game. Unless they're more stupid than I imagine, they ought to have noticed what most complaints are about so it should be impossible not to fix them.

So yeah, as much I'd love to get the game, I don't think I can really afford a game this broken. But that's just my opinion, I can see why other might actually like the game.

Tagging. I'm playing the shit out of Dynasty Warriors Gundam these days, I'd love to get more games in the series!

Actually what they made make sense.

It's doesn't make much sense to play early Wei battles with Cao Pi while he was still a toddler or play late Wu battle with a Sun Jian that is actually dead........

Besides Conquest mode is big enough that you can play a tonn of battles with whatever character you want.( and there are more characters than in previous DW, you get 62 characters to choose from)

Not sure how you can complain about the lenght of story mode either as in DW6 story mode consisted of 6 battles per character.

Here story mode for each kingdom is around 20 battles or so..

My main issue with Dynasty Warrior 7 is how easy the game is on normal mode and not challenging at all.....

I suppose, and now if they actually present the story properly, it might be better, whereas before I felt little sense of story so didn't really care

And difficulty should not be an issue, the point is to kill 1000000 enemies! and then get destroyed when Lu Bu arrives!

Well their are more stages that is for sure (only 6 stages in DW6?);..But wei's story really ends their...Considering Cao Cao dies (a few months) after this battle and Cao Pi hardly did anything...

Considering the games story mode is based on the real deal it would not make sense to continue with Wei's story..

And conquest mode has a lot of stages but really a lot;.




I have not really the idea that atleast on the Koei forums think this game is broken on that fact..

I am on the fence about this game.  I never played a game in this series.  Might check it out.  Looks like fun.

1)  If you care about the story then you will love the effort they made in this game;. especially the way how you start the battles now...When I first started I was blown away;..

That people die, that before you start a battle you can walk around the village and have the possibility to talk with the officers it adds more to the story and it will affect you...This time you will really care;...Must be hard to understand though if you didn't played it for yourself yet...

Witch Gundam game? The second one? Not a big fan of the first one though...The second one is better in my opinion loved the mission mode;..But stopped playing when I could not beat those chaos missions =p.
