I voted "Zero" but just yesterday I bought A Link to the Past on the Virtual Console because they didn't have Final Fantasy III (VI). Oh well.

I bought GoldenSun and Pokemon Black, Nintendogs. In all the first few months of a new year are generally slow. I didn't include third party 3DS games because I thought this was refering to Nintendo's drought of software.

If you include third party titles I bought 5!
